• All clients must be aged 18 or over. In cases where age is in doubt, we reserve the right to request photographic proof of age, this can be achieved by any of the following methods.
  • Proof of attendance to a 18+ Convention (e.g. ConBadge), such as but not limited to ConFuzzled for example
  • Image of valid government issued photo ID alongside a selfie with a requested pose to ensure validity
  • Proof of age requests can be sent via email securely to redd@reddstitching.com and is deleted after confirmation is obtained.
• Acceptance of commissions where the use is not intended to be personal, such as a gifted commission to a significant other, or a parent commissioning on behalf of a minor, is limited and subject to additional discussion at time of quoting.
• Quotes are provided freely, with no obligation to commit to a slot, a slot is only guaranteed where a deposit has been paid and received successfully.
• Quotes can be obtained via our quote request form, available during periods when quotes are open, these dates will be communicated by the official social media channels.
• A minimum 2-view artwork reference must be supplied when applying for a quote, except where the characters back is a single colour without markings.
• If you did not have reference artwork, this can be commissioned from me, please email redd@reddstiching.com for more information.
• Commission of suits of copyrighted characters, including but not limited to Sonic, Pokemon and My Little Pony, requires further discussion, and is not a guarantee that your request will be fulfilled.

• Payment plans can be arranged, with a minimum commitment of £100 per month, although more bespoke plans can be made in exceptional circumstances.
• If your commission is quoted at £200 or below, payment is required in-full after acceptance of commission. If a commission is valued between £200 & £400, a payment plan to split the payment into 2x 50% payments can be arranged.
• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the commission total is required to secure your slot and is included within your commission quote total, this covers the costs of administrative work and some materials toward your commission. Should you choose to exit your commission slot, this deposit, as noted, is non-refundable.
• Suits will not be completed or shipped until full payment has been received and cleared by the chosen payment method.
• Should you experience any financial difficulties or are unable to make payment at any time, you are requested to contact me at the earliest convenience to discuss your situation, so that a resolution can be found.
• Should you miss a payment due, the following steps will be taken.
  
  • On the first missed payment, you will be contacted by your chosen communication method. This contact will be to confirm you are aware of the missed payment, and discussion can be taken as to continue with payments, temporarily pause payments (and therefore your commission) or cancel the commission slot.
  • If subsequent payments are missed, Redd.Stitching reserves the right to cancel or otherwise amend your commission slot in line with the prescribed terms and conditions, in all cases you will be notified of any outcome via your chosen communication preference.

Payments and delivery

• Payments for commissions will be invoiced through Stripe, and can be paid for by Credit/Debit card, ApplePay and GooglePay, no account required.
• Payments can be taken via PayPal but this is only accepted where Stripe is not available in your country and/or is incompatible with your payment card.
• Shipping and Postage costs will be calculated once the commission has been completed, and are not included in the initial quote provided.
• All parcels are shipped as recorded delivery with insurance and a tracking code provided to you.
• Parcels are logged at time of shipping and Redd.Stitching waives liability for any damages incurred to the parcel during shipping to your address. Should any damages occur, please contact the shipping company who will handle your case. As policy, Redd.Stitching logs the condition with photographic proof of parcels sent to ensure adequate confidence in shipping quality.
• At-Con delivery can be obtained, providing Redd.Stitching or a chosen representative of the business is attending the relevant convention.
• Convention deadlines will only be accepted when offered by the business and will not be available for all commission types
  
  

Right to cancel & Right to refund

• Redd.Stitching reserves the right to cancel any commission for any of the following reasons, please note the list is not-exhaustive and a commission may be cancelled for a reason that is not listed below, in this instance, the client will be notified of this will a full and reasoned explanation, any cancellation decision is final.
  • Constant/Persistent harassment for updates - An agreed update schedule will be discussed per commission at time of quote acceptance
  • Rude or otherwise negative behaviour toward me, my team or the business itself.
  • If a commission is cancelled and payment has been taken that exceeds the deposit, you will receive a refund, less the deposit value as stated above, should payment have been received beyond the deposit value and any monies spent on materials, you will be provided an itemized list of materials bought and the associated costs and provided a refund of the remaining unspent balance.

• All suits come with a 3 month guarantee, which commences from day of receipt of the suit. Any repairs needed within this time-frame need only the shipping/postage payment covered if the damage is caused by typical wear and tear.
• For the purposes of clarity, the following are not considered "typical wear and tear activities".
  • Dancing
  • Marathon/Sport activity
  • Adult Activities
• If a suit is sent back that is determined to be in poor condition, such as but not limited to: Staining (otherwise in accordance with typical wear and tear), unwashed or severely unbrushed to the level of damage to suit, any warranty is immediately revoked and the suit will be refused from further work. Neglect of a suit to this level may impact your ability to further commission Redd.Stitching and may be labelled as High-Risk on future commissions.
• Suits will not be adapted/modified for weight loss/gain.
